I personally feel that every person has a story inside them. They may not even realize it, and they may know about it but don’t know how to get it out of their head and into print. I remember the first time I started to write a story. I was inundated with all the research and typing and etc, so I sat it aside. Even after stopping, it didn’t elevate that desire to write. Of course over the years I pacified myself writing songs and poetry, yet I still felt unfulfilled. After I retired I finally sat down, now that I had enough time and Google which I didn’t have on that first try. I now, at this writing April 17 2015 have forty books published with three new ones coming this year and many, many more stirring around in my head. Please if you hear anything at all that I am saying, please, please, please, hear this. Write, write. Don’t wait. I can’t emphasis that enough. Do not let anything or anyone keep you from writing that masterpiece that you have tucked away between your ears. Do it. I repeat, do it. You can do it.
I didn’t write a book expecting anything, no expectations at all. Then why did you write? I wrote hoping for a pat on the back more than any other reason. I believe inside each of us is a little child craving, wishing, hoping for attention, just a little touch of a mother’s hand or a kind word telling us how beautiful, how wonderful we are. I believe with all my heart that a pat on the back is much more important, more precious than all the money in the world. Now, please don’t think for a second that I would turn down money and exchange it for that pat on the back, although I wish I were in a position that I could. To keep writing and continue to share my thoughts with others, I have to have money. It seems that the folks that perform all the tasks necessary to bring this story to the public’s attention want more than a pat on the back. You guessed it. They want money. So as much as I would love to let each and every person that would like a book of mine I have to charge a certain amount for it. And of course I understand, businesses can’t operate with just a pat on the back or as I like to call it, Love. I do believe the world would be a better place if somehow we could have more of that.
