A PLACE WHERE YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE!

   Howdy folks
It’s The Old Cowboy with some thoughts about being an author.

You know it’s a shame when a talented author quits writing. It’s a shame to let that talent sit still and stagnate. I know many authors who have done that.
It’s a bigger shame for a author’s family to let an author’s stories stay unpublished when that author dies.
I recommend that each author make a will stating that their stories will remain published for the readers of the world.
I, also, personally feel that each and every person has a built in talent for writing.
How many of you make a grocery list before going to the store and how many tell your kids a bedtime story
This tells me that you are a storyteller and a writer.

Jesus says in the Bible in the Gospel of Mark: “Is a lamp brought in to be placed under a bushel basket or under a bed, and not to be placed on a lampstand? For there is nothing hidden except to be made visible; nothing is secret except to come to light.”
This means a person should share their God given talent with others. He gave you a talent and He didn’t mean for you to hide it away.
Many folks have written stories and then hidden them away in their desk drawer or in their closet.
There is a certain satisfaction when you turn that talent loose and share it with others.

They say opportunity only knocks once. Well, if that’s true. Then this is your once in a lifetime opportunity, however, I don’t believe that. I believe opportunities are all around us every day. It’s up to you to reach out and grab one for yourself. You can grab it and be successful. There is one thing for sure. You’re surely not going to be successful if you don’t grab that opportunity when it comes around. It’s your decision. Grab on and enjoy the ride or sit still and do nothing. This could very well be the first day of the rest of your life.
